Instead of a physical printer, you can select Adobe PDF in almost any Windows or Mac OS application. Print to PDF creates an electronic copy of your file that you can save to disk.
- Tap Print from menu options. Select your model name from Printer on Printer Options. If Printer Options doesn't display, you can't print from that app. When you print a file with multiple pages, such as a PDF file, tap Range to print selected pages, or tap All Pages.
- CutePDF Professional. Easy-to-use PDF Utility. Seamlessly integrate with CutePDF Writer. Make PDF booklets, impose (n-Up pages), combine PDF files, add watermarks, edit forms, add comments, add headers and footers, rearrange pages, security, digital signature, scan, FTP and much more. Now includes the Form Filler for Free!; One-Off License Fee. 30-Day Return.
- Jan 17, 2018 NB: you may see the older MS Print to PDF printer showing in options to print, such as from MS Word but it won't be appearing in Devices and Printers - Well it's not showing in mine; only the newer MS Print to PDF (1) Hopefully this gets you sorted.
- Aug 23, 2017 I'm trying to print a PDF that's about 4-5 'normal' pages in size. Preview wants to 'Scale to fit' it to 25% to fit on one page, but that's too small to read. So then I click the 'Scale' button and set it to 100%. But it still only wants to print one page, but this time with just a fraction of the image on it.
Note: Printing a file to PDF using the Adobe PDF printer flattens the file.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open a PDF or image you want to print. If you want to print multiple files, you can open them in one Preview window. To print only some of the PDF or image pages, choose View Thumbnails, then Command-click the thumbnails for the pages you want to print. Choose File Print.
Note:
Ensure that Acrobat is installed on your computer, otherwise, the Adobe PDF printer or the Save As Adobe PDF option won't appear. Don’t have Acrobat? Try Acrobat for free.
